White Boar Interiors was established by me, Amanda Jane Tervit
I graduated in 2005 with an honours degree in Interior Architecture from Oxford Brookes University. After that, I worked in various management roles before firmly establishing myself in the Interior Design world. Additionally, I’ve worked with big names like Laura Ashley, Sterling Interior Design, and with local independent high-end design and architecture companies.
Subsequently, I became Creative Design Director for Auchenblae Design and Build, a company I set up and ran with another partner. After identifying a gap in the market for a specific, bespoke interior design company that provides the full package, White Boar Interiors was born.
Why White Boar?
I am extremely proud of my name Tervit, as is the rest of my family. It is an unusual name and has a lot of history. When researching the family name, our coat of arms was discovered, which had 3 black boars on it. When deciding on a name for the new business, I wanted to incorporate the family name somehow. After some brainstorming and talking with family members, White Boar Interiors was decided upon.
